Summer Camp 2016
On Saturday 30th July 23 Scouts, 7 Explorers, 5 Cubs and a selection of Leaders headed off to the wilds of West Sussex!
A fantastic week was spent camping at Daylands Farm, a proper working farm, using one of the 5 acre fields and a woodland for our base camp.
Activities included all the traditional Scouting skills, a 21 mile cycle ride along the Downs Link for the younger Scouts, a 31 mile cycle over the South Downs to the sea for the older Scouts and Explorers, kayaking, rafting building, fishing, air rifle shooting, camp Olympics, bivouacking, swimming, pioneering, a hike up to Chanctonbury Ring for the younger Scouts and an overnight Expedition Hike for the older Scouts and Explorers.

Everyone had a great time!!
Have a look at some of the photos we took while getting stuck in with activities!
